For example, a $1 million film production can generate up to $350,000 in tax credits, translating into over $250,000 in direct cash to subsidize your production with the State of Louisiana guaranteeing at least 72% of credit value starting in 2007.

Since the film incentives began, close to a total of 2.5 Billion dollars of production have flowed into the state.
